I'll take it with me

On self-isolation.
On the importance of scale.
On a landscape when no one is looking at it.

I listened to the request:
'Please paint me a small one.
I'll take it with me.'
I started thinking about the trend of large paintings
and where they end up afterward.
I thought, too, about how galleries came to take on so much
and what remains for artists.
Another question that occupied me was the importance of descriptions
and their length.

I had time to think.
COVID-19 happened.
Galleries closed.
The Internet, on the contrary, opened up even more.

In self-isolation, I painted little works about various desolate emptiness.
From the toy house, I took chairs that are 15mm high.
I placed them in front of the paintings.
The photos became an online exhibition.
I answered some questions,
but it does not work.
The questions won't end.
